And in the (confederate) South was a slave labored plantation society of mass profiting agriculture. After the US Republican victory of the Civil War The United States begins to consolidate thier forty-eight contigious states of North America by building large railroad networks to connect and speed the growth of a vast industrial empire.America was rich in natural resources coal, oil, iron, copper,silver,and Califorinan Gold to name a few.Lying between the Rocky Mountains and the Mississipi River is the Great Plains where cereal production (corn,wheat,rye,barley) could possibily feed the starving world if Corporate america would not feed over 60% of all grain grown to cattle.

Rome The once "great" civilization centered in Italy influnenced every culture that was defeated and or asslimiated through contact with the Roman Leigon or Army. The Romanized civilization of empire in the western world is said to have gone through three ages. The first in Italy, the second in Byaznitium, the third in Russia, well the fourth Roman Empire the United States carries a eagle on top of its standard of War and Economic conformity. The so called Germanic "barbarian hordes" that supposedly destroyed Rome in the fifth century AD now carve a barbaric mass media style civilization across the world. Although the United States where being of national or racial difference is common and undescrimitable and the popular media culture is filled with stereotypes of world ethictisity in individuals where the media gives you a report of this personality in relation to the nobody American cultural stereotype. The American mass public is to be no one or to offend no One where everyone is as free as anyone. Then what am I to believe in America?
The unique character of The USA is that her population is multiethnic. Within the Amercian industrialized civilization the common man is described as having a lack of historical awareness,a blind faith in ethnic and religious superiority and discrimination,and leasing his personal attention and family education to the goverment and corporations who together bombard him with propaganda and rethorical conditioning which dictates his decisions,behavior, and opinions.I often read about the stereotypical descriptions of a "American" by different ethnic peoples across the internet. For over 100 years Americans have used this "United Nations" or multiethnic idenity to justifiy war,military interventions ,"police actions",or do whatever they as "good guys" feel like doing! Just so you the reader know, I am a Amercian. I personally feel that the rest of the world is aware to the fact that our goverment uses this knowledge in "demonizing" her enemies. Different ethnic people from around the world have gained citizenship here and that fact would make this statement true.How long will the rest of the world allow the United States to pretend being a "superpower"?
Free trade based capitalism has brought the wealth of the world's consumer product industries to corporation based superstores in every US reigon and neighborhood,so the conservation of gasoline should be made more important as the personal need to travel is decreased.As America's foreign policy is recongised as reckless throughout the world, personal saftey of Americans who travel abroad is increasinly dangerious,as individuals Americans cannot escape being stereotyped.Beliving myself to be a "enlightened" American citizen I would describe my preception according to experience and limited observations of mass media.The typical American would be above all impatient acoustmed to having satisfaction assured as cheap retail and fast prepared food products save time in his journeys between his involvement in various hierarchical organization and corporation structures.Vast amounts of time and resource is wasted asorbing entertaining civil events and watching commerical program based media. (television,radio,cinema,magazines..) Thus highly mobile but never out of reach instant communcation, The modren American is immeresed and spoiled by sensual stimulation.
I belive this constant sensual stimulation has overwhelmed this modren man's understanding and is devolving his relationship to family and intimate human interaction.Adult education does not end in schools but is lifelong and extended by his observation and attention given to program based media.Corporation based commericalism invades his conscience and being so distracted lets this process take over the education of his children.Ethnic cultural idenity is replaced by a "American Idenity".
The American Idenity is unique in human cultural evolution. The American is a multi-ethnic individual who must rationalize reality according to information the media presents to him.Primarlly preceving his peers as either white(Europeon),black(African),yellow (Asian & Mexican),tan (Semtic & Arabic),red (Native American Indian) The American relies upon his visual color identification of individuals.
A white American does not think himself to be German,French,English,Irish,or Europeon he knows he is white and that is how all the various other "colored" Americans see him,so slowly he has been losing his cultural custom and idenity through cross breeding.
The African American after being forcefully uprooted or sold into slavery by thier own tribal ancestors became the manual labor force in the young colonies of North America.Other than knowing that black people came from Africa by way of white traders ancestorial tribal identification could be made possible by DNA testing but African Americans look at each other and know they are black because thats how the white man sees him.These asslimilated African Americans generally preceive the white American regardless of his wealth with resentment.
Spanish Mexicans are viewed by black and white Americans as being Mexican and not belonging to a Spanish Roman Catholic subculture.Spanish and African Americans have a high birth rate compared to Europeon Americans and with breeding across all color lines,Ethnic tolerence and identification is asslimilated and erased.Chinese,Japanese,Korean and other Pacific Rim ethnic nations are identified as Asian or Oriental Americans as western education places little emphasis upon historical and geographical identification.
The Native Americans (Indian) whether being from North, Central, or South America has managed to survive in small populations from the Colonization and exploitation by Western Europe's migriations.The average American views these people as a curious relic left over from westard expansion.That the United States pushed native North Americans into concentration camps (reservations) to make safe the construction of Industrial civilization would begin this Capitalistic nation building process I have been most attempting to describe.That history taught in schools tries to paint the picture of reservations as a "Indian resort" and for some odd reason only the Nazi's use of concentration camps is remembered and demonized illustrates how histroy is re-written to support the "winners point of view".
This visual method of cultural identification leads the average American to preceive the world with indifference. The American English langauage Includes many words which confuse the average American in understanding the carefully worded media and goverment sponsered propaganda pronouncements.

The specialization of agriculture led to the rise of the western wheat growing Populist Party against the mid-west Corn and cattle raising farmer. The Americanization of the German Frankfurter (Frankfort) sausage , wiener (Vienna),and hamburger (Hamburg) found a great distribution in the network of railroads in the Midwest. The giant of railroad central Chicago helped to spread these popular foods and cattle products across the nation.The hot dog is the symbol of america "a mixed meat and mixed ethnic population".The industrialization of human health is beginning to destroy the spoiled population.The Foriegn Doctors and pharmaceutical corporations lie to thier patients and encourage children and adults to be drugged permanenlty.Many contaminated Americans carry around semisolid fecal matter and are as labeled obese.These same people demand thier children be drugged for thier "bad" behavior.
The civilized humans of empires created in antiquity were grain and bread consumers. With the addition of fruits and vegetables had a full and nutritious diet. Livestock farming only provided flesh-based protein to the rich autocratic landowners and to peasants only during religious celebrations and other special holidays.The nomadic barbarians roaming outside the borders of the Roman and Byanzintine empires often hunted and kept livestock which the nomads had to graze and be on the move to find pastures for the animals to eat.
The post-WWII industrial boom and assembly line manufacturing had created a economy of abundance.The common man could afford to purchase an automobile and eat at restaurants almost daily. The rebarbarianization of human civilization was beginning to occur. The ordinary common man could be Highily mobile like the nomad of the past. The fast food animal based diet returned civilized man to his primitive hunter-gatherer diet without the excerise that was expended in former times. Fossil fuel burning Machines replaced the horse as his main form of transportation. The acceleration of change is beginning to bear rotten fruit in the generational evolution. Education of family and increasingly adults is being subistuted for the entertainment of motion picture and television industries. Predatory instincts are returning to humans as they are evolving backward. The need to satisfy growing appetites because of lack of nutritional values in their diet has led to ill health and other problems. Behavior is being increasingly medicated for adults and children who cannot cope with the bombardment of media and the return of the hunters instinct of being hunted. Thus an animal based diet leads to insecurity and the lack of family who has been raised outside of the programming media culture has created a generation of decadence.
Should I fear the barbarian hordes driving SUV's and eating fast food? Are the suburban white and the urban black my Friend?
Or is the suburban black only fearing that he is alone. And the urban white feels trapped inside the machine of civilization.to escape the city machine of inner-city destruction and live large in the country is what they call the American dream. The decay of industrialized society and the dawning of the Information and high technology era has contracted American industry and sends employment overseas. The United States is an empire owned by anyone who can afford to purchase it. The United States is a luxury resort for the global wealthy. The cocaine and heroin must flow like a river to these happy masses with fat asses. The remainder of the population shall be a cheap service industry workforce. The suburbs are planned into comminutes where standardized construction creates hives of conformity. The oil supplys are shrinking and the Barbarian horde begins to build a castle. The homeland must be defended. The US government has funded (Israel Crusade) the occupation of the Holy Land ? Has created a Democracy for Iraq?
The 20th century saw the exodus of rural and farm populations into the sprawling urban industrial centers of the northeast and the central west. Unlike the biblical exodus where the monotheists fled the urban centered Egyptian Empire. The rural population of the United States submitted themselves willingly to serve as industrial slaves of the Corporation Empire.A very curious development in the evolution of man is this urban migration. The Capitalistic Economy of the United States has harnessed machinery to lower costs For the production of food, clothing, housing, and luxury items to undermine the small business backbone of rural America.
The industrial era saw the lavish expenditure of finite fossil fuels to build this large urban empire. Coal, natural gas, and crude oil are essential to operate the infrastructure of western civilization. At the beginning Of the 21st century the human race is gifted with powerful computer technology but we find ourselves at the mercy of the antique industrial waste of the 20th century. Computer technology is now abused to kill or control humans.Smart bombs, laser guided missiles, satellite imaging, and sadly propaganda and information control are but some of the ways the military elements spread terror and fear throughout the world. On the Economic side bar coding, smart shopper discount cards, social security numbers, and reality television shows erase the privacy entitled to every citizen of this once great country.
The mass media of the United States including Education, television, radio, newsprint, and Internet Are almost completely commercialized and exporting a deadly culture of overconsumtion. The Department Of Agriculture subsidizes the livestock and dairy industries asking you if you "got milk"or you should try "the other white meat"(pork). The corporation wants to kill you while the drug manufactures want to drug Everybody permanently. The government doesn't want you to ever care about anything.
The timeline of United States history since the late 1880's could closely follow the stock markets rise And fall. The 1890's saw the reorganization of railroads, consumer products, and producers industries, into corporations and Trusts.by 1900 the foundation of American culture was almost complete. The Federal Reserve engineered the first two World Wars by contracting the currency and creating depressions.The communist Russia was the bad guy of the world for 45 years followed by the decade long Iraq drama.Saddam Hussein looks like he could have been a clone of Russia's former super villain Stalin.The War on Terror is a blank check to let evil military and right-winged religious elements in our government reek destruction all across the earth.
After the disaster of the September 11th plane crashes a similar reordering of civilization has occurred.Corporations are consolidating and downsizing with a contraction of wages instead of currency. The Strip Mall character of suburban America is similar from the Pacific to the Atlantic oceans you cannot escape the Wall Marts and McDonalds.The world looks at America and sees a barbarian horde that seeks satisfaction at gunpoint.
A good question would be why the government doesn't encourage family planning and contraception?
Half of all American pregnancies are unintended and with access to education and safe methods of contraception people would "plan ahead" and not need to have a abortion which is so demonized by the Facisct religious and Republican right wings.Federal Funding for the "Title X" family planning program ,which supplies education and free contraception for the poor, has decreased from 160 million dollars a year in 1980 to 60 million in 2004.Of course 1980 began the stupidity of the Regan Adminstration as Republicans must be blind to the fact that the urban poor population is increasing and family planning funding should be increased to serve a larger population.If urban mothers had free and unlimited access to family planning ,the need for welfare payments would decrease when unwanted pregnancies are better controlled.A article in Ohio's Farm & Dairy 1985 newspaper explains how half of the USDA budget for that year was embarked for the food stamp and other government nutritional programs and illustrates that a fact when funding is cut from the "Title X" family planning program , the government has in effect only redirecting the funding into family feeding programs. Having a lack of Family income,stable occupation ,and education levels all increase the fertility rate of poor women illustated by this 1957 fertility study image .

When the government stops Funding for family planning they take that decision away from the urban poor. For the people living in the information age where acceleration of technological progress is integrated into the post-industrial civilization the growing urban mass population is emerging into a service industry based workforce who depends upon corporation marketed commodities for existence. Popular culture is overwhelmed with images of sexual content. How then to discourage a natural human instinct? In urban populations where children are raised in a single family environments the advancement out of urban poverty is uncertain. So the right wing establishment must be determined to fill the growing need for an uneducated and low paid service (slave) industry workforce! George Bush's 2006 budget recommends a cut to vocational educational funding and this fact shows how the Republican Adminstration feels how industrial education is becomming increasingly unimportant for those who shall enter the US workforce.A Detailed history and study of the occupational structure of Amercian civilization will shed more light upon the changing shape of the American Economy.
The Early occupational structure of Amercian civilization was as noted above a rural farm based or agriculturial society in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.The early process of Industrialization created a need for clerical and administration personnel as complex machinery gradually replaced the need for human labor.Thus by 1950 the height of the American "Golden Age" The concept of a middle class between wealthy and poor existed which was rewarded with higher wages and or salaries to staff and manage the " Hierarchical Structures" of the growing corporations.The 21st century begins to reveal how advanced computer technology has replaced the need for the clerical , administrative ,and skilled labor personnel needed to manage and produce the products of a corporation.Occupational information was released by Penn State Univeristy in Pennsylvannia in a report titled "Update on Pennsylvannia , Road to 2005 " . The Information for Beaver and Allegheny counties in Southwestren PA can be used as illustrations of the general industrial and occupational decay in the United States.The City of Pittsburgh once the administration center of a important steel producing reigon is now a retirement community where 17.8% of the population are over 65 years old.The largest percentage of the work force 15.9% is involved in the health care and social assistance professions who logically must care for the older people.11.3% is involed in retail sales,7.5 is involved in accommodiation and food service,and 6.9% is involved in the shrinking manufactoring sector.After adding up all the occupational percentages reported in the newspaper I noticed that 12.2% of the working population was unreported.If this report takes into account total population including children I do not know but probably the unemployment level is underreported.All of this information points to the major corporations and government having a direct influence in daily life.That the biggest economic moneymaker is based upon the care of sick people shows how US corporate advertising is killing American citizens by encouraging unhealthly diets and lifestyles which translates into a industrialization of human breeding to create death for profit.What a crying shame!
I was curious to learn about the Occupational data concerning the United States on a national level after reading "The Road to 2005" Pennsylvannia article.Using the Internet I really wanted to find data that illustrated the change in US occupational structure in the last 25 years or from about 1980. But most information for that era was being sold on compact discs and not downloadable , but luckily I came across a US Census comparsion PDF document illustrating the US occupational changes from 1990 to 2000 which was freely downloadable from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Labor Website (1). I typed the image based data onto a text document so I could enter the information into some specialized graph making software and thus visualize the changes and comment on what I can preceive from the data. As a whole the US workforce grew 12% from 115,681,202 employed in 1990 to 129,721,512 in 2000. I inspected the text futher to confirm a occupational shift increasing in those employed in the computer industry and this also confirms the 1990's as the beginning of the complete intergration of high technology into the occupational structure.I chose some interesting occupational changes ,that fell under the general categories which I graphed, that will help to explain my opinion on the direction of the Occupational Structure of Amercian Civilization.
Computer technology workers have increased over 100% in the so called ".com" 1990's decade. Science related occupations are on the decline with a noteable change in the Physical & Social Science category as scientists have increased 42% and technicians have decreased 42%! In the Education category the Special Education workforce has tripled & supports my ideals on how the family and government has not spent enough time to educate and teach the young.The delegation ,or the handing over, of the teaching and education of young people to the mass media is a tragedy as the fourth and fifth generations raised by the television are reaching adulthood.Librarians and Archivists suffered a 16% loss to the workforce as history is not important to the young and learning through reading is also on the decline as most post-1990's children see even thier school work as a distraction from the video game and television based visual based mass media. That almost 1 million workers are employed in a "personal appearance worker industry" also illustrates how the visual based mass media uses "beautiful people" to entice or interest a consumer.These selected occupational changes lay the "ground work" and will lead me to futher illustrate the changes in the US Occupational Structure.
Although The US total workforce has grown 12% during the 1990's, what industries has the growth of population been centered in ? When I viewed the table of Census information this is not easily noted and with the help of the pie-chart graphs I assembled (and can be accessed by clicking the highlighted links above) I began to "see" where the the changes have occured by comparing the detailed occupational table with the pie charts as a total US Structure source.Top Executives (+101%) and Advertising & Marketing (+72%) personnel have benefitted and exploited the mass media infrastructure to increase sales.Other professional occupations have increased & together with the exective and advertising growth point to the US corporate structure becomming "top heavy" as the management and professional categories (34%) combine to make up one third of the total US workforce.Besides the management and professional categories gaining personnel most of the growth to the US occupational structure have been in corporation support occupations such as the service industries , police ,fire , law enforcements, personal care ,and health care occupations.The greatest losses in workforce numbers would be the industrial production (-8.2%) , transportation (-16%), agricultural (-34%) , construction laborers(-18%) , mining occupations(-32.9%). That these industries were once the creaters and champions of the Labor Union movements shows how the corporate leaders are moving these industries off shore to foreign countries in the last half century long effort to keep profits high while keeping labor costs low.These sad facts support the comments of a fast disappearing "middle class" that is being slowly compressed into the lower class by having to find a new occupation.What the pie charts do not illustrate is the shifting of movement of people to other occupations.Salesmen (+11.0%),Cashiers (+37.7%), and Customer Service (+179.4%) occupations are the low paid occupations that has asorbed older displaced workers and the young just entering the workforce.A recent study in Pennsylvannia has uncovered the sad fact that three-fifths of this vast Service Industry do not insure thier workers with medical benefits.

The urban population of minorities is growing as of 2004. Hispanic 39 million,African American 37 million, and Asian 12 million, growing alongside the now "white" or ethnic European races 197 million.This generalization of human diversity is typical of the stereotypical mass media reporting. You do not have an opinion of the typical American. America is everyone who is no one. So truly the United states is a nobody people which has come in handy to justify a war with any nation that the evil politicians see fit. If you rely upon the mass media you will be given simplified descriptions of persons, nationalities, and current events to shape your understanding of complex world and human affairs.
The urban minority populations often gather in gang or tribal groups for either sheer barbaric violence,Protection and identity or to engage in drug trafficking organizations. To boast of the violence done to the same peer and racial group is nothing but primal tribal warfare and the mass media glorifies this culture of ethnic self-destruction in movies, music and other popular media based culture. This minority gang culture together with substantial drug usage is such a tragedy that those involved can only watch helplessly as they are trapped within a society that destroys it's own people.The pratice of wearing red & blue colored bandannas is commonly used to distingush other "gangs" in a visual identifcation but truly mirrors the pratice of the military when playing "war games" and lets the "others" know about troop alignments.This bad habit can only serve to visualy mark a target for a easy "kill" and should be discouraged and abadoned.Between 2003-2004 The United States added 900 immates into federal prisions every week with one out of every 138 Americans being in prision. 61% of all immates where ethnic minorites or peoples of various colors.
The use of untested microwave communication is warping the brains of hundreds of millions of people.Of course many of these people microwave their food in plastic bowls and plates and can't wait or stand still long enough to understand a rational human being trying to explain his or her point of view. The use of time saving Convenience "Technology" such as microwave ovens and teflon coated cooking pots are really "Health Hazards" and may save time for the "person on the go" but numerious scientific studies have shown when humans use these devices cancer and other illnesses are likely to occur.
If you do not believe in generational evolution go and speak to your grandparents or other elderly people before you lose their wisdom permanently. Elder means "aged and respected" not "old and sickly". In the United States where I live the elders would often remark on the lack of morality and the quality of living. Many of these older people feel that young people do not pay attention to detail and are take for granted the abundance of food and available material wealth that is so carelessly discarded in todays disposable commercial USA culture. In 2004 it has encouraged people to dispose of their older relatives in nursing homes because many people in a media programmed society "do not need" the instruction of their elders.The Elder generation of the WWII era produced the first programmed generation in America.This so-called "baby-boomer" generation was slightly aware of the programming media evident by the Counter-culture of the late 60's rebellion against authority.The drug LSD was tested thoroughly by the government for mind control purposes and drug use overall Induces a herd like mentality. The Grateful Dead a music band out of San Francisco CA had nomadic bands Of these baby boomers following them around like sheep.
My generation is called "generation x"1965-1976 and we are supposed to be a machines. They now label people as machines! Easily branded by our capitalistic masters to consume Big Macs and buy Nike tennis shoes, the evil Corporation Empire in the United States is arrogantly overconfident in the design of our futures. Gen Y born after 1977 doesn't know why or what is happening to them! Beware of Generation Z (the children of Gen x) already these innocent children suffer form poor diets and lifestyles.Generation Z could be the last Generation before cheap fossil fuel has been totally wasted and major changes in civilization occur. The Republician Robber Baron has ,since around 1890, steadily amassed the wealth and property of this country into thier fortunes and estates and the lowering and rasing of the Federal Reserve's benchmarck Interest Rate allows them to increase thier fortunes with little risk unto themselves.The printing of new currenecy is what creates inflation and together with the manipulation of interest rates allows a few wealthy Evil interest groups to control the economy of the United States.I leave you with this most disturbing fact, Of the 35 million Americans living below the official poverty line, 40 percent of them are children.The United States is now the most unequal of all capitalist countries, with less than 1 percent of the population effectively controlling more than half the national wealth.
